(2) For the purposes of these Regulations, "public institutional solid waste" means any solid waste generated by- (a) any premises approved under any written law or by the State Authority for use wholly or mainly for religious worship or for charitable purposes; (b) any premises occupied by any Federal or State Government department, any local authority or any statutory body; (c) any government school, government educational institution, governmentaided school or government-aided educational institution established under the Education Act 1996 [Act 550], any educational institution registered or established and maintained by the State Government, any higher educational institution established, authorized to be established or deemed to be established under the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 [Act 30], and the Universiti Teknologi MARA established under the Universiti Teknologi MARA Act 1976 [Act 173]; (d) any government healthcare facility and any other healthcare facility as determined by the Minister; or (e) any premises used as public zoos, public museums, public libraries and orphanages.
